We ordered a Mestizo colada, sweet corn and queso fresco empanadas, chicken tinga tostada, fried fish tacos and a Mestizo Rice bowl. Everything was wonderful and full of flavor. Especially loved the empanadas and the rice bowl. The place is small with tables pretty close together and it's pretty loud - we could barely hear our server while he was talking to us at our table. That kinda took away from the experience for us. But just loved the food, so will be back for sure.
Outstanding!! The food was fresh and delicious! I highly recommended the coconut cevche, the brussels were dynomite!!! They banana tacos were a vegan delight. It was a lot of food, definitely more than one person should eat. The seasonal watermelon margarita was also perfection!

First time here, lovely ambiance with plants eberywhere, beautiful bar, enticing menu and refreshing Mojito after hot day at OMSI... sampled quite a few items and loved them all, especially empanadas!
Everything was extremely fresh and flavorful. I loved all the colors of every dish. The vibes were great. Staff was friendly.
Made our reservation online, came in and we were immediately seated. Very quiet as it was a Tuesday evening, but my husband and I both enjoyed the latin music and vibes. We both ordered drinks, I asked the sever what she recommended and she said her favorite was the "Bossy" drink, and it did NOT disappoint! Super refreshing and spicy! My husband and I ordered 3 tapas plates, including the Calamari, Yuca Fries, and Pork Belly, and both of us got the Fried Fish Tacos. Every single item we ordered was mind-blowingly phenomenal. We could tell that a lot of thought and care went into the ingredients of these dishes, and while simple, less is by far more. The Calamari specifically was incredible, with an amazing sweet and spicy chili sauce. My husband is celiac and dairy free, so finding a restaurant that can cater to him, and knows how to do it well is a hard task. All in all, phenomenal experience and we will definitely be coming here more often!

Mestizo was SO good! We got a few dishes and a drink each and it was perfect. Firstly, having fried calamari and having celiac don't usually go together but here it does! The calamari was light and crispy and so good. We also did the Brussel Sprouts at the recommendation of our waiter, Junior. And they were perfect. The scallions, the sauce, the brussels themselves. All of them. Speaking of Junior, he was a fantastic waiter and we really enjoyed our experience even more because of him. Our drinks (Pisco Sour) were excellent and made wonderfully by the bartender who was cool when she served us and friendly when she greeted us when we walked in. We also loved the Pork Belly and the Fish taco. Thank you Mestizo!
